1. Dry Erase Dice
I have two sets of these dice. I use them in centers for my students, guided reading, and for test reviews. They are durable, easy to use, and have lasted for years!
2. The Prize Wheel
I bought this with a gift card last year and I am so glad I did! I also use this for test review (when students win a prize) and classroom management. It is easy to sit on a table and you can write on it with dry erase markers!
3. Dry Erase Pockets
These are my favorite dry erase pockets. I love that they come with markers. I also love the colors! Every teacher needs SOME kind of dry erase pockets. I cannot tell you how many times I have needed something laminated so students can write on it but didn't have the time. These are a life saver!
4. Wireless Doorbell
I know this seems random...but it is GENIUS for classroom management and transitions! If you haven't heard about how teachers use these, check out my Ding Dong, Who's There? blog post! It will help you understand why this tool is so effective!
5. Crayon Pencil Sharpener
Yes. A Crayon Pencil Sharpener. These go on sale often, so wait until it goes on sale, then buy one!! Even in 5th-Grade, we use crayons a lot in our interactive journals. I really love this sharpener!
6. Felt Board with Letters
I love putting different quotes on this each week. I only change it once a week or allow one of my student leaders to change it...but it is very eye-catching and so much better than my own handwriting!
7. Single Page Laminator
I have one at home and one in my classroom. I use it at least 3 times a week in the classroom. I really like to think I am a good planner, but it just always happens. I need something laminated. You don't need a fancy one, this one is perfect!
8. Laminating Pouches
Never leave home without them. :) I always buy these when they are on sale and always have some in my classroom. Always.
9. Paper Trimmer
Now, this may seem excessive, but it isn't. lol. We have one paper trimmer in our school and I don't like having to leave my classroom every time I want to cut a straight line. It isn't expensive and gets used very often!
10. The Best Magnets Ever
Okay, that isn't their real name...but they really are the best magnets ever. I HATE when I am trying to teach and my anchor chart keeps slipping due to terrible magnets (1st world problems.) Anyway, these are it. The best.
